The NEO-M8N GPS Module with Ceramic Antenna is a premium satellite positioning receiver board engineered for applications demanding high accuracy and rapid satellite acquisition. Powered by the u-blox M8 concurrent GNSS engine, this module simultaneously receives signals from multiple satellite constellations including GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou, and Galileo, delivering superior location accuracy down to 2.0 meters even in urban canyons and dense foliage.
Equipped with a high-gain 25mm imes 25mm active ceramic patch antenna and onboard Low Noise Amplifier (LNA), the NEO-M8N achieves exceptionally fast Cold Start fix times (< 26s) and precise positioning performance. The board features an onboard EEPROM for saving custom configurations and satellite almanac data, along with a rechargeable backup coin cell battery to ensure ultra-fast Hot Starts.
Communicating via standard UART serial interface utilizing standard NMEA-0183 protocols, the module supports update rates up to 10Hz. Operating on 3.3V to 5V power inputs with 3.3V TTL logic lines, it is widely used in Pixhawk/APM flight controllers for drones, vehicle tracking devices, asset monitoring systems, and outdoor robotics. It is fully compatible with Arduino, ESP32, ESP8266, Raspberry Pi, STM32, and custom printed circuit boards (PCBs).
