The ESP32 Development Board | Doit DevKit V1 | powerful Wroom32 module is an industry-standard, high-performance microcontroller board engineered for Internet of Things (IoT), smart home automation, and edge telemetry applications. Built around Espressif's ESP-WROOM-32 surface-mount module, it houses a 32-bit Xtensa dual-core LX6 microprocessor operating at clock speeds up to 240 MHz for local data processing and real-time operations.
Equipped with 4MB (32Mbit) of SPI Flash memory, 520KB SRAM, and 448KB ROM, the Doit DevKit V1 provides memory for custom firmware, web server hosting, and Over-The-Air (OTA) firmware updates. Onboard wireless communications feature 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi (802.11b/g/n) and Bluetooth 4.2 (Classic BR/EDR and Bluetooth Low Energy) backed by a 3D PCB trace antenna.
The board features a Micro-USB interface paired with a Silicon Labs CP2102 USB-to-UART bridge IC and auto-reset circuitry, enabling programming directly from the Arduino IDE, MicroPython, or ESP-IDF without manual button presses. It breaks out 25-30 usable GPIOs (depending on layout variant) across breadboard-friendly 2.54mm header pins, operating on 3.3V logic levels with an onboard 3.3V LDO regulator accepting external power from 5V USB or 6V-12V DC via the V_IN pin.
