The Water Level Sensor is a simple analog sensor with exposed parallel traces. The more the traces are under water, the higher the output voltage, so Arduino can detect water level, rain or leaks using one analog pin.
| Output | Analog |
|---|---|
| Supply voltage | 3V – 5V |
| Current | < 20 mA |
| Detection area | approx. 40 × 16 mm |
| Connections | 3 pins: +, −, S |
What is the operating voltage?
3V – 5V.
Why do the traces corrode?
Continuous current causes corrosion – power the sensor from a digital pin only while reading.
Can I buy the Arduino Water Level Sensor in Kanpur?
